Is 14k And 14kt The Same?

by @ 3:12 am on August 7, 2020. Filed under Q&A

I appreciate learning that it stands for Lindenwold. I have a Lind ring posted on the other jewelry site. ( Never quite understood why there are two… ) It’s 14KT HGE.

Can fake gold be stamped 14k?

If you find numbers followed by the letters K, KT, or KP, this is an indication of the karat of the piece, and it is likely that it is made of solid gold. For example, a stamp that reads ” 14K ” (also “14KT” or “14KP”) means that the chain is 14 karats…. To convert these numbers to karats, simply multiply them by 0. 024.
