The site’s “terms and conditions” stipulate that Real Real can discount anything placed for sale on the site by 20%- immediately. Thus, if you’re selling a product that’s, say, worth $200, that cuts your take by $40. They take another 50% commission on the remaining $160 sales price.

Can gold be real if it is not marked with 14K?

Yes it is real gold, however if it is stamped with 14K it means whatever you are holding only have a certain percentage of gold in it.

How much does the real real charge to sell?

When an item sells, the consigning party gets a percentage of the sale price (50 percent for items priced at $200 or below, and up to 70 percent for products that sell for $10,000 and over) and The RealReal takes a cut.
